BACON! BACON!
Christy and I fired up the BBQ and cooked the bacon we had purchased at The Meet Shoppe. Dad would have loved it. Remember each piece was about a foot long and 1/4 inch thick.
We had some ribs that needed to be cooked so we slowed the process down and put them on while we got ready for the day. Should have taken a picture as it was pretty impressive.
Today was Old Faithful day. As Christy now has an Annual Pass we were able to by-pass the growing lines and enter the park. It is about 30 miles from the West Gate to Old Faithful and I have to say it is an amazing 30 miles. Yellowstone should be on everyone's bucket list.
Christy and Sawyer. We had to stay back from Old Faithful as Sawyer was with us and they are very cautious with dogs not getting to close. Apparently dogs jumping into the hot springs is a 'thing'.
There she blows!
After seeing Old Faithful we drove to Yellowstone Lake for lunch. It was a fantastic view but the wind was cold so we did not stay long. But the chicken was good and the beer cold. Off course I drove home while everyone took a nap.

On the drive home I stopped at the side of the road to take this picture. Simply a spectacular place.
We are now back in Bozeman for the 4th of July events. We'll keep you posted.
