The parts are in!

I rode back from Saluda, NC this morning. The manager of the hotel we stayed in last night gave me some directions on an alternative way of getting home. "You will see your number plate going down that hill.....there are 15 switchbacks on the way down". Well, he was not kidding. NC -1150 was fantastic. At the beginning you had to go slow because of the steeeeep grade and those switchbacks but then it openned up along a great river. I slowed down and watched the fly fisherman for a while. You could actually see the bottom of the river it was so clear. As I motored on home I started to think about serviceing the bike.

My plan is to strip the bike, install the new goodies and perform a service. My test ride will be this years Tax Day Ride, some fine tuning on the ride to Kiawah in June and then she will be ready for July 13!

I have the following to install or service:

- Highway Pegs
- New spark plugs
- Antenna
- New fuse panel
- Extra power port
- Drain and replace all the fluids

I am sure by the time I am finshed the list would have grown. Time to run, dinner at Pete's tonight. Wonder what we will be talking about?
