Day 3 | 697 Miles | Less than 500 miles to go.

We are in Spearfish, South Dakota at the Elkhorn ridge RV Resort and Cabins.  Nice place with lots of room and nice pads to park the RV. More importantly we are less than 500 miles from Bozeman. Tomorrow is Christy's birthday so we have lots of incentive to make Bozeman on time.

Seems like I under took a ride across the US some 10 years ago because someone wanted to be on a California beach for his birthday...Hey Brad.

Cathy heading north in Kansas

Word of the Day?:  Wind!

Going north in Iowa and heading west in South Dakota the wind was bad. I looked on the National Weather channels and all seemed normal, but Baloo was being pushed - so what does a navigator do in such conditions?

Goes to bed - leaves the Captain in charge while a Saturday afternoon nap is completed.

Cathy drove further than Paris to Nice today...hey the navigator had to keep busy researching after a well deserved nap.

Cathy and I are getting out routine down. We arrive at our nightly stop. I jump out and plug in, hook up, connect, and get the bugs of the windows.  Cathy keeps Baloo running, drops the jacks, opens the sides, turns the hot water on, arranges the inside and prepares the first round of cocktails.

Camping is hard!

On Baloo we keep track of all the states we have traveled in our RV. We added South Dakota today.
