Day 1 | Charlotte to Nashville | 422 Miles - 1,774 to go

Word of the day  - Rain!

Up early and on the road to Baloo at 6:00. We pulled out of the garage at 7:00 AM and had about 30 minutes of dry driving.  I am sure the weather on the Gulf Coast is responsible but all the way to Nashville.

Traffic was bad over the mountains with an over sized load taking up 3/4 of the road. No way for us to get by so we just sat back and tried to enjoy the ride. Cathy and I switched a couple of times. As we approached Nashville we realized we both were tired and it was time to stop.

Nashville KOA.  1,774 miles to Bozeman!

Not much of a photo but it is our resting stop for the night.

Pop Quiz: How do you drive Pierre crazy?  (No comments from Pete) - I kept hearing these popping noises and bells. No idea what it was and started to check every alarm and setting on the RV. Just to learn that it was Cathy's phone connected via Bluetooth and she was playing a game!

Have a good night everyone.
