Nashville, TN

Started out Friday heading west.  Approximately 2,100 miles to go.

On board Cathy and I are joined by Mom and Mike. Mike and I went to college in South Africa together some 36 years ago and have remained friends ever since. Mike has seen a lot of different countries but never taken a road trip across the US.  This was his chance and he gets to hep us drive.

Tennessee is a long state.

The modifications to the suspension are really paying off. I replaced the original sway bar with an after market from Blue Ox.  Think about replacing a pencil thin sway bar with on about 2.5 inches in diameter. Much more comfortable and the handling is improved.  The new horizontal shock-absorber installed between the two front wheels has tighten the steering and lightens the work the drive has to do. You can adjust it on the fly and it holds the RV's wheels straight. Another improvement well worth the money.

Time to walk to the fridge and fix some breakfast.
