After a brutal 120 degree highway ride out of Las Vegas we moved into Arizona and then Utah. The crossing into AZ was fantastic. The road just disappeared into a very narrow, twisting mountain pass. After the flat, desert road out of LV it was a welcome change. When it gets dark around here it is almost immediate. From light to dark quickly. This made the ride into Zion National Park interesting as the roads are good, but at night on unfamiliar roads you have to be careful. The lights on the bike are, well we will be nice and say, OK. Really learn to appreciate my wing when you rent another bike. Anyway, it is 6 AM and the roads will be calling soon.
