Well, it is time to stop planning and start riding. Tomorrow, around 4:30 AM I will depart on an adventure. Some who have learned of this trip think I am crazy; some just shake their heads and walk away, and then there are some that get excited and offer to help.
One of the most frequent questions is “how does Cathy let you do something like this?” Cathy and I have long had a relationship that we do not ‘let’ each other do things, we just support each other in our endeavors. After 20 years of marriage I guess our system works for us. For ‘letting’ me do this Cathy I am extremely grateful and will make smart decisions along the way.
Thanks Christy and I look forward to meeting you in California. I have missed you this last week as you have been working in Costa Rica on a mission trip. Maybe one day we will take on such an adventure together.
I will ride around the US with a great riding partner. I cannot think of someone I would rather ride with and trust on such a ride. We will laugh along the way, that I am sure off and create lasting memories like we did riding the French Alps two years ago.
To Brad and Eric – I hope you can keep up in the support vehicle.
Thanks to Liz for scrambling at the last minute when you realized her house had become “West Coast Headquarters”. We look forward to the meal and seeing the boys.
To the best sales team I know: Keep selling like I know you can.
To all that read this blog: think of us as we ride around the US. I will try and post updates regularly. Feel free to add your own comments.
Time to ride…

The "boys" left our house at 4:15 this am!
We received some positive news last night from Brad's doctor - the chemo is working and is slowing down the cancer. Although this is not a cure it was welcomed news, especially just before this trip.
Jake called Brad at 7:30 and all was well!!
I am anxious to read how the first day went.
Ride safe.
hugs,
tammy
