It was hard leaving Liz's house this morning - the party last night was great and lots of fun. It would have been so easy to take another rest day but the road calls us!
We traveled 378 miles today with temp's ranging from 103 in Stockton to 53 in the mountains. Yosemite was beautiful and boy are those redwoods HUGE! We had lots of twisties and the views were beautiful.
We arrived in South Lake Tahoe about 7pm local time and sent Brad and Eric off for Jambalaya ingredients. Pete and I are pouring a drink, setting up camp and will start cooking when the guys return.
Internet access is limited - in a valley - so more pictures will have to wait another day. Tomorrow we're shooting for Salt Lake City.
