Another great day. Pete got his fuse problem fixed, and with my meeting over we hit the road.
There is only one word to discribe the day - hot. At some points the bike temperature read 107 degrees. At one of our stops I poured cold water over my head and it hurt! I was so hot the water steamed of my head and sholders.
We are in a camp site outside El Reno, OK. To tomorrows objective is Albuquerque, NM.
Pasta and laughter for dinner.
Good night all.

Good thing you packed the pasta!! Otherwise sounds like you would have gone hungry!
Sounded like you were having fun when I talked with Pete....the MadKaw should be there (at least for the cooking!)
Enjoy and ride safe

Just rewceived the good news concerning Brad ... and your updates on the ride ... yeah, you're crazy, but everyone knew that when you chose to become a part of this family!!! You are all in our daily prayers and part of the prayer circle as well ... just think about 3500 people knowing our'e out there "somewhere" riding those evil machines ... give our best to Pete, Brad and Erik ... drive safely and enjoy ... pick up some small stones, label them and bring them back for my collection ... I'll put them in a special place identified with your ride .. love to all .. Mom & Dad Colvert
Hey Guys, just checked out the blog for the first time. Looks like a great and grueling trip. Have you ever heard of "monkey butt cream"? I heard it is great stuff and you may definately qualify for the name after the trip. We were all thrilled about the news on Brad's results. Keep on keeping on and we will stay posted. Safe travels, the Lees and Joneses from Arkansas.
