Another day on the road. This post will not have pictures as the internet service at the camp ground is down. I am actually behind the counter at the registration booth typing this.
We rode from Cody to Buffalo and stopped for lunch. There was a small fund raiser going on because the local school was sending 1 kid to Washington, DC on a educational program. We had a steak sandwhich, chips and drink for $4!
We are now at Mt. Rushmore. Tomorrow we start the 1,711 mile trip home. Cathy is planning a welcome home party for Friday night so we have even more incentive to make it home on time.
Later.

The saying goes "the cheapest thing on a BMW is.....the rider"!
Probably was one of the better "fast foods" you have had.
Be safe coming home
We miss you...

Would love to see Mt. Rushmore !!! I cannot imagine the talent and skill that produced such a masterpiece ... sounds like you're still enjoying the trip and nothing about excessive heat -- that's good news. Drive safely and enjoy the homecoming ... wish we could be there to celebrate ... hoist a glass for me .. and don't forget my small stones ...

Well you are on your way home. Just think of the fond memories. Be safe and also would like to say Hi to tammy and Jake. I hope you got along fine without Pete and Brad and I know you are looking forward to having them arrive safely at home-----Grandpa Jones
I'm so Proud of all of you, you saw all the sights you set out to see! I really cannot wait to see all the pictures, especially of Mt. Rushmore, it is so amazing to see in person. Wish I was going to be there for the homecoming party, but I will see you in September. Can't wait!!! Well toast for me upon your arrival!
