In preparation for picking up my Time Out Trailer I have installed the wiring harness. It was more work than I had expected because I had to remove the seat, read fender and some - well a lot of - dirt. The dirt was under the rear panel. While I was 'under the hood' I cleaned most of the connections.
I also took apart the Hazard switch. It had been sticking for sometime and was bugging me. As I had the electrics apart it was a good time to see if I could get it working right. A bit of electrical cleaner and bingo - all working again. It was so simple I wondered why I had let it bug me.
Just ordered Pulling you Trailer. This book was recommended by one of the motorcycle boards I belong to as the book on trailers. Should keep me busy until May 1 when I head to Elkhart, IN to pick up the trailer.
Getting ready for the ride is almost as fun as the ride.
