It has been a long time since we finished the ride. I hesitate calling it the ride of a life time as I hope there will be many more rides. The final GPS numbers on the ride:
Total Miles: 6,590
Max Speed: 102 MPH
Total Time: 105 Hours
Driving Average: 62.7 MPH (that's quick)
Overall Average: 43.7 MPH
Hardest Miles: Last 100 - don't fall off now!
Strangest Miles: Last 10 - riding alone for the first time in 2 weeks, sitting in traffic with no one around me knowing what I had just accomplished
Best Site: Grand Canyon
Biggest Disappointment: Yellowstone - too many tourists
Best Riding: Wyoming
Hottest Day: Las Vegas - 118 degrees
You would not believe: Pete and I sitting in a sand storm, drinking tequila and watching Brad's tent get blown over
I could not have done this: without Pete
Would I do it again?: Can I leave now?
