Well, I took the plunge. I have just submitted my application to the 2007 Iron Butt Rally. This is an extremely difficulat rally to get into but it would be an experience of a life time - kind of like 2006 Ride America.
I plan on using the upcoming ride to test my endurance and see how the bike and body hold up on an extended trip. If I get drawn and have a great time on this trip I can send the money in August. The drawing is on June 10th.
Lots to do to prepare. Monday, August 20, 2007 could be a very interesting date.
